Last week, FreeFoodSharing hosted a community food distribution drive in Islamabad, and it was nothing short of amazing! With the help of dedicated volunteers and generous donors, we were able to serve over 1,500 meals to individuals and families in need.
From the moment the event began, a sense of unity and compassion filled the air. Volunteers worked tirelessly to pack and distribute meals, ensuring that each person received a nutritious meal with dignity and respect.
One of the most touching moments was meeting an elderly man who shared his story of struggle. With tears in his eyes, he expressed gratitude, saying, “I haven’t had a proper meal in days. This food means everything to me.” His words reminded us why we do what we do.
