In 2014, during the holy month of Ramadan, Muhammad Salman Khan took the first step toward a mission that would later touch thousands of lives. With a small portion of his salary and the support of close friends, he began a simple yet profound act—sharing iftar meals with those in need. What started as a humble effort to serve just 10 people in Dubai soon turned into a movement of kindness, fueled by compassion and unwavering dedication.
As the initiative grew, Saqlain and Aly joined hands with Salman, strengthening the foundation of what is now known as FreeFoodSharing. The mission expanded beyond Ramadan, reaching out to struggling families with grocery ration bags, winter clothes, medicines, and other essential support. Over the years, Salman witnessed firsthand the heartbreaking reality of hunger—the silent suffering of families who longed for just one proper meal. These encounters only deepened his resolve to continue the work, despite the countless ups and downs along the way.
What began as a small act of kindness in Dubai has now expanded to multiple cities, including Karachi, Lahore, Sialkot, and Islamabad. With every meal served, every ration bag delivered, and every family supported, FreeFoodSharing continues to grow—powered by the generosity of friends, well-wishers, and corporate donors.
But Salman firmly believes that the fight against hunger isn’t just the responsibility of organizations—it is a duty we all share.
